Description: When dreams meet with mechanisms, anything is possible. Peter and Paula had a dream: a splashing aerial tour of North America. They found a SeaRey they named “Peli” to carry them. They added a motorhome they named “Frosty” to call their home during their travels. Together they realized their dream.

Peli, Peter and Paula first traveled around Florida and the islands of the Bahamas. Next they headed out west and toured the Baja peninsula. Turning north, they crossed the West and flew into Canada. They were not content until they touched upon the wild shores of Alaska.

Together this team achieved the fullness of their dreams. With nothing left to their imagination, the dream came to its bittersweet conclusion.

It is hard to end a dream, even when it is fulfilled. You could see a sadness in their eyes as they prepared to part with their faithful companions. This was offset by the knowledge that there are now new dreams to pursue, flush with the knowledge that they can do it.

My job was to take Peli back to its birthplace in Florida in search of a new owner willing to dream of blue skies and wet feet.

To Peter and Paula: Thanks for taking us all along on your SeaRey journeys. And good luck in whatever you do next.
