Description: How to explore a shallow, sandy river far off the ordinary path deep in the canyon lands? Floatplanes need not apply. It is simply too shallow and requires too much maneuvering. A helicopter would work, if you don’t mind the full time piloting job and the cost. A SeaRey is perfect: cheap, easy to fly, perfect for shallow water and finely maneuverable to get around the sandbars.
