Description: The deal to adopt Peli didn’t happen. Peli’s return to Orlando was still on. It was back to Plan A with a complication: a major hurricane was set to come ashore between Florida’s panhandle and New Orleans.

Plan A.2 was not to do anything different except fly as far and as fast as a SeaRey can before dark, then re-group. It wasn’t much of a plan, but there wasn’t much time to figure it out either.

Bill wouldn’t let me get away without a quick shot. Fortunately the stress of the subject didn’t break the camera’s lens.

Ah Ah! Dan's high tech navigation secrets revealed! A chart plus a spring clamp! Uses little power, cheap, readable in sunlight, replaceable if lost through prop; why need a 396 anyway?!

I never leave home without it, Frank (along with reading glasses to see it in the sunlight).

This man is at his happiest when he has a SeaRey strapped to his pants! Go for it Dan.
