Description: “The sun at dawn should be a sure sign of the return of optimism. When the sun’s shine is ripped apart by wind streaked clouds, optimism is replaced by doubts. And I have lots of doubts about this flight.”

“Oh, look at the bright side. It is daylight and we’re flying. We even have a good excuse for spending more time in the air.”

“Those dark clouds above and the fog below can take the fun right out of flying.”

“Only if you let it. If it gets too bad, we’ll divert.”

“I hope so. I hope you’ve learned your lessons about messing with the weather.”

“Maybe we’ll get to find out. I’m sure there are plenty of lessons just waiting to be learned.”

“If you live long enough.”
