Description: “Man, we’ve got it made now.”

“How do you figure that?”

“Out here over the gulf we can get down on the deck and under the clouds. We can get down with the crabs if we have to.”

“You think there aren’t any hazards down here. Didn’t you see the Special Military Activity corridor shown on the map?”

“Yeah, so?”

“So the military can be shooting a cruise missile right across the state at altitudes of as low as 500’.”

“Well, yeah, but they chase them with fighters just in case.”

“So, you think the military is going to blow up a multi-million dollar missile to save one little old SeaRey?”

“They’d better! Peli is a world famous traveler. Think of the bad publicity they’d get in Europe.”

“Yeah. I’m sure they’d be worried.”

“It’s easy, then, we’ll just fly below 500’ so we won’t have to worry about unmanned missiles.”

But surely Dan, since you saw 'sprinkle' on your radar (#12), you could see an incomming missle (briefly)?

Alas and alack, Frank, but I'm betting those missiles were stealthy and/or the F-18s were jamming my radar. The important thing is that it doesn't scare SeaRey drivers since we're always lower than 500' out over the water.

Besides Dan, the round carbon hull is pretty stealthy and with a dead engine, there is no heat signature to home on...
