Larry, does Schiffit field have a designator? If not, send me the lat longs and also the coordinates of your house. This is not a bad flight from Lake Norman.

Jeff is correct, 9A9, but I mispelled it originally making it difficult to find. Correct is Shiflit Field and can be found on Airnav at www.airnav.com/airport/9A9. According to google maps, my dock is located at 35 degrees 44' 31.97' N and 81 degrees 58' 24.66' W. Let me know when you are plannig a trip and I will see you at Shiflit Field.

By the way, my hangar is insulated, heated, has a kitchen, bath w/shower, hot water, and satellite TV reception. So if anyone wants to stop over on a trip or just come to visit, you are welcome to stay in my hangar. I know it would be roughing it to live this way at the arifield less than a mile from a seaplane freindly lake, but but I bet you tough guys could manage.
