Description: The federal prison-blossom between I-295 and the Appomattox River is putting out new petals. Some say it's a country club. If so, there must be a lot of new members. Maybe they're making room for a few of the guys responsible for our current financial mess.

Hmmm? No TFR to protect the residents from the hazards of GA?

Hah. This prison actually has a paved runway--just to the left of the photo--but I think only one airplane has ever landed there. Apparently, it was some sort of boondoggle wanted by a politician but no one else.

There used to be a public seaplane base just to the right of the photo, but I think that guy has given up and made it private. Never were any services there--just the guy's house and hangar on the Appomattox River.
