Description:
Near Lake Apopka, I heard Paige on the gator frequency and soon spotted him about 1000 feet below in the new LSX. He commenced climbing and I was surprised by how fast he was coming up. We turned around each other for a while as he out-climbed me. We had the same engine (914), and I was solo and low on fuel. I found out later that John Dunlop was with him.

Must have done a lot with those new wings, maybe the aircraft is a little lighter too. Or maybe it's the cowl, heh!

I thought the LSX has a 912s.

The base price quoted is with the 912s but the factory likes the 914 for demos.
