Description: Two cellphone shots pasted hastily together.

We had fielded the usual enthusiastic 'SeaRey' questions from other diners.

Here, the manager and our waitress leaned on the railing near where we'd been sitting to wish us good flights home.

If you're passing through east-central Virginia in a seaplane, Dockside is a good (not elegant) place to stop for lunch or dinner. It's at N37-18.220 W077-13.440.

The bottom on the right side of the dock slopes very gradually but is scalloped and soft, making it a bad place to come ashore. If the mud doesn't get you, the tide going out will. On the left side the bottom slopes nicely and is firm. It's good for beaching, but not for taxiing because at high tide the water comes right up to the trees. (It's fresh water by the way.)

Bill talked the manager into agreeing to install a ladder to make scaling the seawall easier.

Come on! You know the coordinates. It ain't exactly <I>haute cuisine</I> (not that I'd know if it were), but the hamburgers are edible.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
