There are several 'clothing optional beaches' where you don't even need a pamper!

Well as cold as that water is, no one could see anything anyway!!!

Congrats John! 68F is beyond refreshing. Now that I'm Floridianized, 85F is my minimum. But I guess 68F helps to get you back in the SR.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

Swimming from my plane is something I haven't tried yet.

I was surprised at how easy it is to get back in the plane.

I'll bet it;s easy Tony if the water is 68 degrees.

Okay, John, I'll be the one to ask: What's that purple thing on the float strut?

Dave Lima - Sep 18,2009   Viewers  | Reply
Carolyn's bathing suit....looks like this could get to be a classic case of raisin bag with those freezing water temps.

Haw... I was wondering, and then Dave stepped up to the mike.<br /><br />Was it Geo Costanza who said, 'It's the SHRINKAGE FACTOR!'<br /><br />Great pic, really, John. That's what it's all about.

Ballast. As Carolyn was in the right seat and about 50 lbs lighter than me, it takes 5 lbs of ankle weights to balance the Searey.

Interesting! I've never tried that--just let the left float drag. Do you fly that way, too?

John Spratt - Sep 19,2009   Viewers  | Reply
    Yes.
