Description: Coming home from Boldt Castle, we toured the southern shores of Prince Edward County. It is known as ' the graveyard of Lake Ontario.'
Sorry for the poor quality of the pic...but it was 40* OAT and after 3 hours in the air, not only was I frozen, but the camera wouldn't zoom.
John and Dennis landed in the very shallow lime stone bottomed water. Note the 'scuff marks ' the sailboat left on the bottom as it was blown toward shore.
The guys in wet suits were assesing the damage for the owners.

    Dave,

Pic looks good anyway.

Why are you so cold at 40 degrees?

I have no head in my drafty 'rey and find it comfortable down to about 36.
Of course, below 45 I am wearing thermal underwear - it makes all the difference, but I'm sure you northerners know all about that!

Tony..ya might want to very carefully read your 'post', before we all start having a ball with it.

Tony's an iron man, Eric. He don't need no stinkin' head in his SeaRey.

    Dave
Sorry I couldn't polish off the trio. I was on 'vacation' in Calgary. The temperature there never got above 0C for the whole week and our last day of Oct 13, we had 5 cm of snow.
Count our Ontario WX blessings....the WX clock is ticking.

    Well,
I didn't correct it so others would get the jokes.
Go ahead and have fun with it.

Of you know I meant 'heat' instead of 'head', but it still has some shred of truth to it.

I would add my own joke but all the ones I can think of belong on that 'Other' site.

I would agree picture is good, but if it's so COLD, why are John and Dennis standing in the water?

They're walking on the ice Frank. It's freezing up here, I need a vacation...now.

Frank, I never got out of the plane. The three guys waded over and chatted with me. We were only in 18' of water..
Dennis and I had heaters but Dave didn't. It was a wonder he could still fly by the time we got back to Turtle Cove.
Yesterday on the flight home the temperature never got above 30-32 degrees F.
