Description:
Dave listening in on the flt. briefing. The gentleman on Dave's right is ' Turbo Tartling ', a retired career RCAF pilot. He has the highest time on the T-Bird.....7800 hrs.
The fellow on the right of the pic is Larry Rickard...ex RCAF and now a B-767 Capt with Air Canada.He and ' Turbo ferried all 6 to London Ontario. You can see that they pick ' Wing Commander ' weather.

When you got a ' dumb shit ' in the sqn, you got to fly the target tow plane, a T-33, and tow the big white canvas sheet for the F-86 gunnery guys in Chatham. When you got an ' Atta boy ', you got to fly the F-86, and try not to shoot down the tow plane. I'd prefer the second option ...for longevity.
