Description:
Who else but a tourist would be swimming in 72F degree water? The spring spouts 65 million gallons of water per day. You would think the tourist would be totally swept away. (Silver Glen Springs is the inspiration for the opening chapter of Rawlings book, “The Yearling”.)

Yep. That's what's wrong with Florida, Dan. The water is too warm, the winters are too cool, and the cold-blooded wildlife, too hungry.

That tourist could be me....well actually Diane would be the one.<br /><br />The best we can see these days up here are ice cubes, and I'm sure I wouldn't see their shadow, except in a snow drift.<br /><br />Thanks again for the marvellous photos.
