Description: For some reason, the photo came out squashed on this site. Whatever, it was very dashing. Got video of three taxiing out on the ground and the 4th was a little late getting started to he jumped to 50' and air taxied. Very cool, very complex aircraft. Apparently, they 'solved' the problem with the assault landings via software that prevents too high a decent rate. These are heavily used downrange.

When I click on the pic, it comes up sideways!

Someone I work with saw one come into Bangor once, said it was VERY loud when it transitioned to hover mode.

Try walking under the wing with the durn thing churning. However, when they are coming toward you, they are effectively silent. By the time you hear them, they are transitioning.
