What you need is one of those white things parked in the background, the ones with doors and a roof, and central air.

Well all visitors are welcome... But I'm trying to find out who is going to be sharing campsite and food again.

Dave,
You have my address - have the motor home delivered there anytime next week.

    Tony,
This year I will be able to hang under the tree. I have hotel in Lakeland. I will not be staying with my sister in Orlando. Can't wait.
Tony Gugliuzza - Mar 26,2010 Viewers | Reply
    Matt,
Why don't you ditch the hotel and cam with us:? spend the saved money on booze.
Daniel, Keep your searey out of my campsite. You can park it with the ultralights and walk on over.
For anyone who is on a budget and interested in sharing our camp, we pre-buy a load of snacks - soft drinks, cups, plates, various food, you name it at Sam's Club.
We keep sandwich makings so you can whip up a good meal any time you want.
Coffee every morning. BYOB.
We only try to have one or two actual group dinners or breakfasts.
Everyone chips in for a portion of the supplies and it ends up being cheap.

Russ, I'm not getting there till late Saturday so maybe you can find time away from your fly-in prep and stake out the tree - maybe throw a tent or canopy there to make it look real.

Those of you losers that stay in hotels are more than welcome to come on by and contribute to our delinquency.
Bring the booze.
Bring nasty beer if you must.

Dave,
I know you dont like camping, so, Martha can stay in my tent.

Anyone interested in getting in on our community food thing, please email me.
tonyg@carolinaflyin.com

PS
Tom, if you are not familiar with camping at SnF, we stay in the ultralight campground. It IS a bit off from the main campground, but we like it. They maintain very clean porta-johns and showers with no waiting.

Flying the searey into the ultralight field is a breeze - the only caveat is having to cut the engine in the parking area and push the plane to the parking spot. But the spot will be very close and there's always someone there to help.

    Sorry Tony,
Not much on camping but I will come and hang.

Mark Alan MacKinnon - Mar 26,2010 Viewers | Reply
Tony, when will you be setting this up? On the first day (13th) or before?

Also, if someone had only one day to visit S&F, which would you recommend? I remember how expensive each day is, even for EAA members, and I'm going to be on a very tight budget.

Daniel Paul Myers - Mar 26,2010 Viewers | Reply
No Tony, I will not abide by your rules ;-)

Dave Lima - Mar 26,2010 Viewers | Reply
'Dave, I know you don't like camping, Martha can stay in my tent' ...what the hell!
On the other hand, good thinking, she might like on that won't hurt her for once!
Hey all kidding aside, I think we are flying into Tampa, and staying at Sheppards
Phil, are you in?
We will pop over to the campsite for a visit.
Kenneth Leonard - Mar 26,2010 Viewers | Reply
Dave - we'd love to see you and your family if you have the time to stop by for a drink or burgers. We're 30 minutes from Tampa International.

Don't worry, you're on my call list already. The only problem we have is getting jr. looked after up here.

Russ Garner - Mar 26,2010 Viewers | Reply
Tony, what day should I go over with my Harley gang and the guns.

Tony Gugliuzza - Mar 27,2010 Viewers | Reply
    Russ,
If your whole gang looks as intimidating as you than you might as well send over a couple of nuns instead.

Or just send Lou!! She'll get the job done!
