Description: Islands march across Lake Erie east of Toledo. I decided to risk the crossing between the islands to try and reach the planes new home in Midland, Ontario.

First, though, I needed to get some fuel to safely cross over and reach Canadian Customs. As stop at Keller Field (Port Clinton, OH) would give me just the margin I needed.

I landed there after only 0.9 hours. I was met with an unusually enthusiastic greeting. As it turns out, Jack Stables manages the airport and just had to show me the LSX he is building. Unfortunately there was no time to admire it: I was on Border Protection’s time.
