It was deep Troy it was taken down south off
big pine key, this reef is called LOU KEY
about 5 miles offshore... The water was
somewhere around 30'-40 feet deep....

Really, great picture Luis. I wonder if the prop tips are actually bending that much or if it's a result of the camera on a fast object...if it's really bending that much, you have to wonder why we aren't getting prop strikes on the pylon. The top blade looks like 6' of forward displacement.

This was done on a flatbed scanner--much slower than a digital camera, but the same principle:

The second hand moved while the scanner was doing its thing. Attachments:

This was taken from my phone ,this weekend
from the the cockpit of my brothers king air as
we were
flying out to tallahassee for the FSU vs
Oklahoma game for the day. it's really cool the
way that looks
when you take a photo from digital device. the
device is obviously faster than our eyes are
.... Attachments:

That's the new 30 blade turbo prop conversion I've been hearing about. Very quiet operation, but really a drag.

Someone, maybe, needs to do a bit of resizing.

Just for interest, if you look at the new transport aircraft bidders for the Herc replacement you`ll see they have preset the propellers for photographers after receiving complaints at airshows that they did not look straight in photographs.

Luis Sotero - Sep 22,2011 Viewers | Reply
Chris, I know it is a bit big. I uploaded it from
my phone and I have been trying to resize it but
can't
from the phone.... Sorry, well I have a idea I will
just put it as a regular attachment .
