    That, too, Dan. But I wasn't clear enough--had in mind how easy it is to get impatient while waiting for the hull to find the water during a glassy-water landing. When I took the photo, the water was as smooth as it ever gets, and there was also a low haze that obscured a chain of islands straight ahead that might look like the horizon but are much closer and lower than the actual horizon. If I had been landing instead of lounging lazily in the morning, and had become impatient, I might have had a very rude awakening.
