    Great video--especially at that big red flare! There were news reports of it being seen in the Southeast of the US. I had a look around midnight, and saw a glow in the northern sky, but it was probably just the lights of Richmond.

    I wish I would have had the camera equipment to capture it in our area, it was much larger than what was shown in that video

    It was spectacular, the entire sky was lit up with red at one time, from horizon to horizon. I've never seen anything like it and then it switched to the greens and whites.
