Certainly has to be disappointing to see your SeaRey disappear, but the really good news is that your health problems are behind you Dave and you can pursue your next adventure! Best wishes to you both.
I hope you'll continue to post the gorgeous autumn colors of your Turtle Cove!<!-- >'">
' or > missing in user HTML. The same best wishes from Ellen and me, Dave. Sorry we couldn't have one last visit before VMU departed. Always will remember those great Picton formation flights with you and Doug..

I photocopied the a/c journey logbook and as I went through the pages, the good memories flooded back. Dan and Ann.....You and Doug.....Daryl and Linda....Don and Carol...Dennis..........all made stops here at Turtle Cove. The visits don't have to stop.
The welcome mat remains in place.

I brought the kids too! What a great time we had visiting Turtle Cove. I introduced myself to Dave over
my handheld radio when he flew over our campsite. Thanks again Dave and Lynn.
Congratulations on a tough decision well made and executed, Dave. It's great to know that your excellent seaplane base will still be open to little plastic flying boats even after your move back up towards floated heavier metal.

Hi Dave:

Sorry to note the sale of your Searey, but very glad to read that you will continue to fly off the water.

The A-24 is finished and flying. I am currently flying off the 25 hours and sorting out a few bugs. The new bird flies well and appears to be slightly quicker than the last one.
I am using a ground adjustable Warp prop and like it a lot!

The only bug of consequence is the appearance of fuel around the base of one carb after shutdown. May need to install a fuel pressure regulator, but more homework required to be sure.

I look forward to shoehorning you into the right seat in the spring. (g)

best,
Larry
Is this a secret test program, Larry? Surely you have some pictures you could post, eh?

Hi Dan:

Back from a biz trip to find your comment. I will post some pics and/or video shortly.
Wx up here has been less than perfect but looks good ahead for a few days so will try to keep the flight testing in high gear.

More shortly.

Best,
Larry
