Eric.
Let me know next time, I'll meet you. I went out later in the day to do some water work. Could of easily
gone down the Hudson to hook up with you. You're right, weather was great.

I like your wingwalker! But weren't you a bit high? Uh, for the Hudson, that is.

Don, 1,000' to 1,299' for transients (new rules). Swarms of helicopters below. Tommy was flying - I was just taking pictures.

It's much more fun below the helicopters and at night. Did that in a Katana with a bubble canopy several times with non-pilot friends. They were always blown away as we circled Ms. Liberty at her eye level.

I'm incredibly jealous. That looks awesome. I was on my way there today in the SeaMax and chickened out around FRG and turned back because I have never flown the Hudson Corridor before and it started to rain, but of course it cleared up 15 minutes after I started to head home...what exactly are the 'rules' now??

The FAA has an online training course covering the rules, Richard. You can find it at the attched link under ALC-79, New York City Special Flight Rules Area.

Richard,
Here is a video from Aviation Safety that explains the new rules for
using the corridor. You should find it helpful if you decide to try it
again. By watching the video and taking the FAA online course as Dan
mentions, you will be able to do the Hudson corridor confidently. It's
well worth it.

http://aviationsafetyvideos.com/ebook5.html
