Description: One of the nice things about flying a SeaRey is that you get to see into people's lives a lot more than you do in, say, an RV or a Cirrus.

And one of the architectural--and cultural--differences between America and many old- and third-world countries is that Americans typically build the house in the middle of the land and leave the perimeter open. In many other countries it's just the opposite: they build a wall around the perimeter, with the house inside it, either up against the wall or with a courtyard in the middle of the house.

But there are exceptions. Some of these American householders, for example, seem to feel that living in a cul-de-sac off a dead-end road isn't isolated enough. They needed to wall themselves in with white plastic fences.

Malvina Reynolds would probably be greatly amused. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_2lGkEU4Xs

Maybe one neighbor with a dog could sell two plastic fences.

Frank....were you flying on Monday? My son thought he saw you leaving the patern?

Wayne... Well, I finally finished my Annual and fixed a few minor issues and did, indeed, go <br />flying Monday. Just locally with some water and runway ops plus a few photos for a friend.

Hey Don,<br />I could have taken this picture from my RV. It just may be a bit blurry.

Yes, you could have, Matt. But why would you? It's an entirely different experience in an RV, with its own rewards.<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
