Description: The Beach town is
maybe 10 miles South
of Ft. Myers. Crowds of
SnowBirds and
SpringBreakers flood
the Island in the
'Winter' and Spring.
Yesterday tho, the
humidity was down and
the temperature was
up and it was a perfect
day for flying and
photos. The Gulf is at
the upper left. The
anchorage is about as
full as I've ever seen it.
The Gulf Shrimp Boats
are tied along the Bay
upper right.

Frank, if I can I'd like to come down and fly around with you one of these days. Do you land in the enter coastal and are there any places on the water where you can tie up and eat?

Would love to have you come visit our part of the world Russ. Splash in restaurants are a problem, not like up in mid-Florida. The "Navigator" on the Peace River has a dock but I've not tried it. I called them once and was told the owner likes seaplanes so much lunch is on him if you fly in. Page Field (KFMY) has lots of runways. Lake Jackson just north of Sebring has lots of beach on its South Shore and the Sunset Grille restaurant-but it's an hour flight from here.Wayne Nagy has more ideas for water restaurants; Wayne?<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML.     Wayne, when you say south of the public beach, do you mean you landed in the Gulf? Oh, yes, Doubletree used to have Chocolate Chip Cookies! Enjoy Tallahassee!<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or &gt; missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->
