This is the kind of story AOPA loves to scoop up.

Dennis, I have to ask - did you ever drop your camera in the water?

Two summers ago I gave my brand new camera an unintentional dunking by forgetting I had it in my pants pocket, as I was getting into a Seabee which was waist-deep by the time I got in (at the Lake Murray splash-in we were at, remember?). When I got home and dried it out the best I could (rice in a zip-lock bag trick), at first the camera wouldn't work at all, then after a few days it worked, but now all my pics look like this one, with a haze around things.

Haven't dropped this one yet, Mark, but I've noticed of my long distance pictures have been blurry recently. I think its a problem with the Motorola Droid HD. Close ups are fine, distance looks worse than a drug store card board camera. Of course, it could be the Indian and not the arrow.
His uncle is an amateur photographer and had his high buck equipment clicking away. I'm sure it's recorded for posterity.
