My family and I are heading to the Canyons outside of Salt Lake City in 1 1/2 weeks! This
picture got me psyched! I don't see anybody skiing....?

Wayne, You'll see LOTS of skiers at Canyons - lots of room though. There are probably 4 more areas within an hour or so up that canyon, all of which offer GREAT skiing.

Dennis, one advantage of being out of Downs Field is that your hangar door doesn't stay frozen shut until July.

Down here in Virginia it's water skiing season--or will be as soon as this freaky Canadian weather goes back home.

Thanks to having a south facing hangar door, the sun provided enough heat to allow the doors to slide
open. Great, I'm going flying! When I got back to the hangar later that day, the sun was now off that
spot and the doors were now frozen open! But it was a nice first flight for 2014. Times like this I'm
thankful to have a good cabin heater. I was able to fly in comfort without the bulky coat or boots on!

Good news! With the doors frozen open, you can go flying any day you want. And the heater will keep you warm.

I was night skiing at Brighton by salt lake last Thursday. 6' of fresh powder fell as we arrived, never
waited even a minute in a lift line and conditions were terrific. Great way to end a hard week of work out
there.

The water is fine Wayne! Just saw the tube you posted yesterday. Great stuff.
Will be scuba diving on east coast of Fl with son this weekend but any other time, you know you are
welcome.
