Description: Dan's photos of "Secret Searey Base" on the St. Johns River in northeast Florida reminded me of a slightly similar place in northeast North Carolina. The sectional charts call it NC61, and some airport info says it's "Academi." You might remember it as Blackwater, back when it was run by Eric Prince (whose sister happens to be the current US Secretary of Education).

I've flown over it several times, but without being seriously tempted to land--or even loiter overhead.
