Description: It's nice to have a retired AA Captain for a Searey buddy. I followed Chuck into Charlotte Douglass International today. We even stopped on the runway and took pictures. Chuck did all the talking. Mark that off my bucket list!!

I've wanted to try CLT during this crazy time where everyone is checking off Bravos and I'm effectively unemployed
but haven't gotten the nerve.

    8677 x 150. A tight one, eh?

I agree, I didn't have the nerve either but Chuck seemed right at home. All the folks were very nice and accommodating. Here's one of Chuck at a dead stop on 36 right. How many planes have ever done that.
And one of downtown Charlotte as were on approach. My corner office was on the top floor of one of those taller buildings some years back. The view is much better from the seat I was in when this picture was taken.

It all depends on what you're used to, Dennis. I'm scared to death to go into ORD, but can sleepwalk through an approach into EWR.

Well done, guys! And I'm happy to see Chuck using that shiny new airplane for SeaRey Adventures.

Britt, perhaps we could arrange another gaggle to KCLT. Three abreast on any of their runways would be doable. Maybe
they'll let us taxi around a bit.
