Description: Sunday Sunrise at Lake Dora

I flew up to FA1 for the Monster Splash event on Saturday, but the
afternoon forecast at home (KCLW) looked too windy for my liking . .
. so, I stayed an extra night in Tavares.

But the upside was a BEAUTIFUL sunrise for my launch back home!

How was the event Bob? I had a great time the last time I attended , but family activities kept me home this year.

Good call to hang around Bob. One landing and takeoff was enough for me. 12 to 14 mph SE wind right up the ramp made for a rough landing and even rougher takeoff. I left for the Bob White fly-in just before the contests started. I have a picture of the Adventura II that sank doing the dead stick, spot landing contest. I hope he won a plague. I will try to post the picture.
