Buck says "Our first morning there were 4 Searey caps being worn in the Kenmore office."

To his left are Chris and Amanda, of Flying Fish Float School, which I believe has a Searey. https://flyingfishseaplanes.com/home

Buck also says, "Paul D is there with his wife, a Searey pilot from WI I think, Tom Snow the author and I’m not sure if Steve M SPA has started flying the SPA blue Searey yet."

Hey Don, I was wearing one of those Searey caps that first morning when I met Searey Buck in the
Kenmore office at
the SPA member adventure. There were less than 25 of us at that point so Searey pilots were pretty
well represented
My wife Linda didn't have her Searey cap on but added to the count, as she has over 50 hours PIC in
our factory built
Searey. It was great to swap stories with Chris and Amanda, Paul Sanchez, Tom Snow, Buck and the
many other
seaplane pilots that we met in Seattle. While I didn't see any Searey's in the Seattle area, there was
a lot of interest and
I answered many questions from other SPA members.

Thanks for all the information that you post on this web site and the many You Tube videos that
you've posted over the
years. Hope to meet you someday soon.

Ha! What a cool gathering it must've been, Mike! Is Paul in the top photo? It's been several years since he stopped here for lunch, and I might not recognize him in a crowd.

Yes, Paul is in the back row 2nd person right of Buck. Tom Snow is in the light green shirt on the back row. My wife Linda is next to
Amanda and Chris has the orange hat. I'm flying the Super Cub on Floats in marginal Seattle weather which was A lot of fun, but I
missed the photo op.

I am going to make a special cross country trip to your house to hear first hand about the trip, Mike. I just plotted the trip on
Foreflight to 94FL. Yep, I have a capability of making it to see you and Linda without refueling. I will notify you in advance since I
need your permission to land on your beautiful runway and taxi up to your house and hangar. Total nautical miles direct.....9... :-)
Happy Holidays!!

Don, Just saw this post and yes my wife Kathye and I spent first 3 days at the SPA event. We are on back row of picture. My last count had at least 8 SeaRey owners there. We had the pleasure of spending time with all of them and did see one SeaRey fly-by. Kenmore Air did a great job of rolling out the red carpet. Having an opportunity to fly a DHC-2 Beaver certainly was a highlight. Even took in a wine tasting!
SPA is talking Australia for the next one. Mike Smith is pushing that one. Any takers?
Thanks for posting the pic and hope you've had a great New Year.
