Description: Maybe I searched incorrectly, but I went to the STS File Cabinet and
searched on GEAR WARNING and GEAR ALERT with no hits found.

I'm trying to correct several "False Alarms" encountered with the Gear
Alert system. Examples include:
1. Cruising at 70-75 mph and I suddenly receive a "SELECT GEAR"
prompt.
2. After selecting LAND and receiving the acknowledgement RUNWAY
LANDING OK, on short final I receive the prompt RAISE GEAR.

Suggestions???? Thanks!
