Description: Fuel to enjoy flight was easily visualized when I drained 16 5 gallon
cans of fuel from my 310 to repair a fuel selector... that amount
keeps the 310 in the air for
2hrs/40min. The front 3 5 gallon cans keeps the Searey in the air for
3hr/30 minutes! :-)

FYI...the picture was taken from a drone that my son was flying over the Gulf of Mexico...

Would it be legal to fly a drone from the right seat? I don't know how fast they can fly. I guess the 400' rule would say no.

Great shot Wayne. I have a Phantom 3 Pro and would like to get some pics like that one.
What altitude was the drone at and how difficult was it for you to spot.?
It looks like the sun was just about overhead or maybe at your 11 to 1 o'clock ?
Was this part of a video....and what drone /camera did you use ?
Thanks ....Dave

    Part of a video
DJI Mavi Pro

I counted on Brent to keep the separation. I could see it as I flew under it. I kept my planned altitude (Low) and he kept his.
Because the camera has no zoom, the drone was a little close for comfort.

Thanks for the info. If I get a pic 1/2 as nice as yours, I'll be happy.
