Description: Not the Searey.... the paddle board guy! My son in law paddled from
Bimini to Lake Worth Fl. (85 miles). The group raised 260K for
Cystic Fibrosis research. My daughter and I flew out into the Atlantic
to cheer him on.

They began in the middle of the night (12:30 AM) and arrived in Lake Worth around 3PM.      Attachments:

Wayne - he averaged 5.6 mph for 15 hours?!? Paddling?

good question Ken. The three men in the picture paddled 2 hour shifts each. (My son in law is on the right). They paddled due west
until they entered the strong flow of the Gulf Stream which assisted them in going toward Lake Worth. Fortunately, the weather and
seas were perfect on Saturday.

That's quite a feat. Well done!

That had to be a big adventure. That's a long boat ride much less paddle. Great they raised that kind of money for a
worthy cause.

You bet! I had some friends that waited 3 weeks for better conditions to make the crossing. In a 50-soemthing foot power boat!

As you may notice in this picture, Dan, the Pilot and co-pilot (my daughter, Courtney) thoroughly
enjoyed welcoming Nick back into
U.S. waters! :-)
