Description: Chuck won't brag about it so I will. Here is the water jet cut stainless sign that Debbie (Chuck's wife) had made for his Taj Mahal hanger. Chuck is such a perfectionist that he even had the mounting screws powder coated!!

Hey, up here in NC, we say ""hang-uh""

Dennis, it's your spelling I'm poking fun of, not your accent.

Dennis Scearce - Mar 02,2017   Viewers  | Reply
I get that, Mark. Spelling never was one of my strong suits (not that I have any strong suits). Thank goodness for spellcheck but even that lets me down sometimes.

Thanks for putting up with my teasing. I'll behave now.

Well, if you are picking on me, you're leaving everyone else alone...

Dennis doesn't have an accent. (The rest of us do.)

But lettuce not grip a bout speling in Anguish. It stinx. Anyway, the coolest misspelling I've seen in a long time is in Chuck Norton's email address.

Well Don, when I was choosing my email address some unthoughtful individual had taken cnorton. Thought I was being clever to
use my last name spelled backwards, but I must admit it has caused problems over the years. I'll take the cred for a cool email
address spelling, but in all truth it was kind of an accident.

And it's great to be back on track. More panel work today, maybe even some finishing tape work, although it's a bit cool to open the
hanguh door to air things out. Now if work would stop insisting that I show up and just send me the checks, maybe I could get this
thing flying.

BTW, shout out to Dennis for all his help. Accent or no accent, he's a great guy. I know when he reads this he'll say 'aw shucks'
but it's true. As a matter of fact, it's true of everyone in this community. Geez, I gotta go find a tissue...

Aw shucks. It's my pleasure to help in any way I can, Chuck. Mine's laid up right now waiting on another two wheel spacers from Hagar. Note to self....don't tear your machine down until you have the parts in hand.

Notron is very cool, Chuck, no matter whether you read it backwards, or as No Tron. It just sounds and thinks cool. When I was teaching my favorite typo was studnut. Cooed was second.

You guys say a lotta funny things in North Carolina, Dennis. When Carol and I moved to Greensboro we went downtown to get the utilities turned on. As we were leaving the water company office we asked the clerk where the electric company was.

""Oh,"" she said, ""it's just araound the cornuh, on Ayum Street.""

Ayum Street? Hmm...

So we walked to the corner and looked at the street sign. Elm. Great place to live, though. We were just down the block from the Yum Yum ice cream store.

The what? You mean the 'lectic company?

Don Maxwell - Feb 27,2017   Viewers  | Reply
Oh, yeh. Been in Virginia too long. (In Greensboro, they used to say that North Carolina was a vale of humility between two mountains of conceit. But I don't know if that's still so.)

    That is awesome!
