Description: Here's Duke Energy's largest coal plant making money this morning around 10:00am. I was on the way back from VA - from visiting my mom. That's steam rising from the stacks, not pollution thanks to mega million dollar scrubbers. It was built in 1974 - 2240 megawatts of pure money on hot days like today. I tried to time the shot so that little cloud would hide the monster coal pile.
If I were Nickens, I would have at least done a Splash and Go. But I'm too cheap to use up my $2.36/gal gas to get back to 3000'.
