Description: This day was amazingly warm (16C) for these parts, albeit very overcast
except for this one hole in the clouds. As the sun dropped lower near the
horizon, it lit the clouds from below and the effect was amazing. Today the
airport is covered with almost two feet of snow! Ironically, I'm heading out to
cut grass, rake leaves and finish some planting.

Eerie! Could you tell what caused the hole? (Beneath it might be a good place for a hangar.)

Dennis, I guess the good news is that you had a good flight, a good season of flying, and now comes the opportunity to
rest, repair, maintain and/or upgrade (after shoveling snow). :-)

don't want to rub ""snow"" salt into a wound, but 200 million people in the US will experience below freezing temperatures tonight...I
just put on my AC......

...but in the interest of full disclosure, by Nov 19 we had to put the heat on! It was 51F in FMY but none of my northerly daughters
offered any sympathy whatever.

Frank, I can empathize. I have a houseful of women and if the inside temps dip below 72, they'll be looking for heat to come on and
walking around with thick, heavy sweaters!

72? Wow - at 43.7851° N too. My thermostat is set to 66° daytime....60° at night... (great pic too)

Eric, you didn't read that 4th digit on your Slide Rule!

It is a great picture, Dennis! And I can see that your mirror is correctly placed......
