If you're going to be in the Finger Lakes area around the middle of September, you might consider the 3rd Annual Seaplane Homecoming at Hammondsport, NY, September 16-18. Here are a couple of links about it:
http://www.republicseabee.com/Files/Curtissmuseum.pdf/
http://www.linkny.com/~curtiss/
I might even head back that way, myself.
If the weather cooperates, they plan on flying a replica of Glenn Curtiss' 1911 "A1 Triad," the first practical amphibious seaplane.
Keuka Lake is Y-shaped, with Hammondsport at the very bottom of the stem and Penn Yan Airport (PEO) at the top of the right branch.
Here's a photo, looking south, with the stem ahead and the hill separating the branches on the right:

Hammondsport is just around the bend to the right, at the far end of the lake.<!-- >'">
' or > missing in user HTML. A spam can beats no can at all, Eric! 'Spam Can to Penn Yan'--what a song title that would be!

I'm mulling it over. It's about 4 SeaRey hours back up there from here...
