Upon ordering my kit I was presented with the distinctive SeaRey hat which I was very appreciatrive of. However it seems I am to well endowed with cranial matter and it does not addequately cover the head. Therefore I recently asked the donor if a distinctive SeaRey patch was available that I might sew on a suitablle hat or appropriate jacket. Was told there was not but if sufficient interest was shown one might be de4signed and produced? Perhaps we could have a competition for the best design?.... Once we have a design I'll have it costed at Archbold's. Then we need a minimum number of orders to keep the cost down. Twenty-five would be nice but I expect we won't have that many. Since a patch can be have more detail than a simple logo maybe Russ and Lou Ann could do something with the excellent drawing made for the SeaRey fly in. Should look good on a 3 in. round patch. If we could somehow portray both land and water function in the background under the aircraft silhouette(neutral/black) and 'SeaRey' -'Fluid Flight' lettering with military style velcro attachment. With unanimous concent John could go into discount production.
