As an Administrator I don't believe the two pictures called News Accuracy, and Wheels down landing are appropriate for the Splash & Dash site. I don't mean to be critical, but this is more of a Social Site pertaining to the SeaRey; and not pertaining to more serious matters. This was my understanding of this particular site. These two pictures would be more appropriate in the Technical site.<br /><br /> Judy Bennett

judy, i am probably one of the guilty people for posting stupid pictures on this site. (mind you dennis v is bad) however, you must admit for a while there wasn't much going on so we tried to spruce it up a little. not to get off topic but i noticed the site is almost full, do we send a donation like on sts? perhaps someone has a paypal account that we could easily send a payment?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that the STS admins do not oversee, nor are responsible for S&D. Also, while S&D is mainly a Searey-related site, it is not limited only to Seareys. S&D, I thought, is for anything seaplane. These photos may serve in the 'tough lesson' catagory that could be of benefit to folks here that are not members of STS. Anything that is Searey technically-sensitive should be moved to STS, but I do not see the need to move these pics to STS.<br /><br />Or maybe I need a clarification of the purpose of S&D?

Dave, I just got an e-mail from Dan Nickens, and he said that in about 3 weeks he'll be emptying his albumn of Flitterings, and that their should be plenty of room when he does that. Also Dan said that anyone can pay on the site. I asked him if there was a way we could pay $10.00 like in the Technical site, but I don't think it is set up that way. As far as I know Don Maxwell and I are the Administrators for the Splash & Dash site, and Don has moved over things in the past to the Technical site, that were very questionable. I didn't move these, but I also have that capability. JB
