Very nice Tom. But how do you get the audio down from the camera/recorder on the starboard wing? Did you run cable? And how come your harbor is so calm!?$#m :-)

    Frank,
The NFlightCam has a 5 foot pigtail that is not long enough to reach from the plugs to the center post so 6 ft headset extension cables from ACS were already on-hand. Those, a couple of zip ties, and “poof”, you will have a remote, but connected, camera mount.
As per the video, the harbor can be a seaplane pilot’s delight, but it is not always calm or deserted. The pleasure boat traffic in the harbor on weekends tends to restrict my access. Glassy conditions turning to white caps and 18” wind waves later in the day are not uncommon. Pick your days and times.
Thanks for the hook up explanation Tom. I'm really glad you have some good harbor
conditions. And the sights must be awesome. I guess the LAX Class B airspace overlays
some of the harbour because I recall many left turns out of LAX that gave a great view.
