I plannned on meeting a friend at the Tarpon Turtle Grill on Lake Tarpon in Tarpon Springs. Does anyone know of any areas around the lake that a Rey can pull up on dry land? If not, how about a good beaching spot??<!-- >'"><br><font color=red size=6>' or > missing in user HTML. Please fix the HTML.</font> -->

Wayne - There is a park on the opposite side of the lake but I wouldn't leave a plane there.<br />I looked hard at the Tarpon Turtle for Searey options - all I found was tieing it off to the dock post and letting it trail downwind - there can be serious waves when a power boat chugs by.<br />Always welcome to drop in here and borrow the car. Turtle is 15 min by car.

Thanks for the information and the invitation, Ken. You really made me feel welcome on my last visit. I appreciate the offer to use your car, but I can probably get my brother to pick me up from your house and take me. I am flying to a meeting in Tallahassee on the 20th of FEb. and returning on the 23rd...I may drop by to visit you and my brother...as usual it will be spur of the moment...so don't 'wait up'. :-)
