Sorry about the beach, but did any of the Seareyers snag a buoy and fly off with it? I am missing one. I hope it did no damage.

Thomas Yowell - Nov 12,2012 Viewers | Reply
Tom, we had a buoy caught on our gear leg as we entered the water. We removed it, near the shore. Thought it would float, sorry.

Its probably some where on the lake I cant see, Thats OK, I was worried some one flew off with with it and it would damage their plane either flapping in the wind or when they land with it.

Sorry the Ramp was not usable, but I thought the Beach was good enough since it was last year. The ramp will be extended before the next Fly-in.
Thanks to all who came and picked my Fly-in over the Sebring Fly-in and to Kerry and the rest of the PA Team that showed their support.
If any one else has pictures of the event, please post here so I can download them. Thanks.

I tried to fly down Tom but the weather here started getting funny around 9 so I check the radar map it showed a weak line of weather coming off the east coast across us and winds on the coast were up to about 20 so I figured it wouldn't be long before they made it inland. I don't like bumping around in my plane so I elected to set it out. The other problem I have with the wind from the East like was it makes getting the plane back in the yard a real pain. Your on the good side of the lake for most windy weather in Central Fl. Attachments:

It got windy here too, and some of the pilots wanted me to start the food early so they could leave early but it got better and no one left early that I know of. Sorry you missed it.

Taxing down wind leaving Bowdens landing was interesting, After
prematurely getting turned into the wind twice, I put the gear down and
it really helped to keep it going down wind. You can give it lots of power
without getting on step and helps taxing down wind when it is very
windy.
