The Blue Rhino propane tank company caught fire last night sending hundreds of 20 gal propane tanks flying all over the place. PA is about a mile away from this company. I had back surgery on June 10th and I'm pretty much stuck in the house while I'm healing up. I did get the plane out couple of days ago for the first time in a couple of months. I had I cervical surgery in 2005 that fused the center of my neck, that has caused the other neck bones to do more work. Now I have a pinched nerve at C2 that has been causing me head pain for about a year. Now that my back is getting better I decided to get my neck worked on so in the next couple of weeks I'm going to have the nerve cut that is causing the pain. Just spent the last 6 days flat on my back with an L5 pinched nerve. Can sit now so <br />life is good.          Russ Garner - Jul 31,2013   Viewers  | Reply     Ken, that's were my back was giving me problems also. I didn't have any idea I had a bulging disk in L5 and pinched sciatica nerve until I started getting pain and numbness running down my left leg. It got so bad that I couldn't laydown or walk and the only way I could sleep was sitting up in a chair, if you could call it sleeping. I had taken so much pain meds that my stomach started bleeding. I finally had Lou take me back to the LKL er. I had been there already and they just sent me home with more pain meds. This time I told them my chest hurt. These were the magic words. The took right in and gave me a chest X-Ray and though the saw a spot on my right lung. They admitted me and started running test the next day. Mean while, I was getting a good pain med in my IV so the pain was manageable and I could sleep. A neural surgeon came by the room and told me he could fix my back and I would walk out of the hospital the next day. I had no choice so I let him work on my back the next day. Small 1' scar that healed up in a couple of weeks. I still have some numbness when I stand for a time but the pain is gone and It turned out there was a shadow on the X-Rey of my lung so it's fine.          Frank A. They can do wonders now with back micro surgery; I know, been there.
