Last Summer on my way up to the Georgia Bay 2013 Gaggle, I flew up the Hudson Rive Exclusion SFRA. This was the second time I flew the corridor. This time was with two GroPro cameras – one on the wing & the other in the cockpit. Using Apple’s Final cut Pro I put this video together to the sound track of Cakewalk by Flim & The BBs. I

t is my first one I've posted. I am working other from that trip, as well as from flying around teh Chesapeake Bay.

Flying the corridor one better have it all planned out before taking it, since there is so much to see. The corridor splits the seam between La Guardia and Newark Class B and you have a deal with all the other GA traffic. The first time I flew the corridor in Aug 2012, I encountered ~10 sightseeing & “Rich Guy” helicopters operating below me and a handful of GA aircraft from a pair of Cesenas to an RV that made two speedy trips up & down the river in the time it took me one-way.

It was quite the experience that is why I put this video together. Enjoy.
Attachments:

I really enjoyed the trip Robert. The GoPro really brakes the ice with non small plane flyers and lets them see how much fun we have in our little seaplanes.

Nice ride, Rob, and good editing! That's one of the very best flights anyone can make in a SeaRey--and the slower, the better. The last time I was there the new World Tower was still a baby.

Not yet. (Not as good an angle as yours.)

Dan Nickens and Jon Ladd flew past the site on 9/10 (or maybe a few days earlier) and may have a photo of the twin towers from that day. Their story of being forced to land in Georgia (I think) on 9/11 is great reading. Attachments:
