    Didn't think you would be impressed, Frank, and I don't want one, either. But those Czechs aren't dummies. I'll bet they figure on selling a lot of them. And if you think of the airplane as a ready-to-fly LSA land plane that can also alight on water now and then, they just might do that.

    I looked at it closely at SNF and a big concern is egress in an accident. Imagine pushing all that canopy straight out thru water. Not a nice thought.

    Darrell<br />While I don't disagree I must say there are quite a lot of planes out there with the same hinged style canopy. As long as you are not resting on the bottom the canopy could be pushed open once the 'pressure seal' is broken.

    Notice that the tail end of the fuselage and the rudder are in the water during the step taxi. At least they were smart enough to put the stab at the top.
