Thanks Charlie. Can you believe they were going to put one of my pictures on the cover but none were quite good enough quality wise. Man, I wish I could have gotten Streaker on the cover... and instead they put that SeaRey file photo thats already been used in many magazines and many brouchures.<br /><br />moral of the story - turn that resolution up on your digital camera. you never know when you might need those extra pixels!

No problemo Charlie.<br /><br />Roberta, I love hearing that and then I get all ticked-off that I didn't get the cover cause it was mine for taking. I just didn't have teh photo quality. The editor even stretched the deadline while I sent her every photo of my SeaRey I could find and they picked through and evaluated them all. The pic of the taxi under the train tresle was a finalist but didn't pass quality control in the 11th hour. DANG! I wish after she told me she was going to use a 'file photo' of a SeaRey that I'd asked her if I could come to you guys for submission your birds! I'm sorry for that too! DANG!<br /><br />Does anybody know the history of that bird that is on the cover. I've seen that photo so many times, I'm curious. Is it still flying?

I just got back from OSH last night and HOLY MACKERAL BRET YOUR STORY WAS THE TALK OF THE SHOW. The magazine was EVERYWHERE in all the news stands and a big boost for PA. Way to go man !<br />

Awe man that is great to hear Darrell! You guys are the only feedback I'm getting on this so I really appreciate ya'll telling me this stuff.<br /><br />Steve I'll try to figure out a way to scan the pages and post them. I have no pride at this point... I'm not exactly the self-conscious type but that one of the family with me and no shirt... well that was just unnecesary  Rick, what was that diet you are on? Improving SR gross weight hasn't gotten me to diet but that dang photo just might.... oh me, oh my. thousands of copies huh?

Bret, you and I both may have to go on a diet. I`m on the low carb now and have lost 11 lbs so far. Both our fat ass togather will not get airborn. HEHEHHEHEH
