OK maybe a place to stay isn't really a technical question so I'll try the S&D. Late Feb or early Mar I will want a cheap, clean, close, free meals, nice bar, shuttle to X61.. Well I guess cheap, clean, close to X61 most important. I would appreciate all input.

    Tom,

You're overthinkin' this thing... You're visiting a town that has the most available hotel rooms in the USA and the world. There are plenty of $150/week rooms & suites around. Get a $50/wk rent a car and be done with it. I'd get a motel where there's decent food and entertainment nearby. All us locals will try to get out to play on a Fri or Sat nite and many of the Bob White catherders will be around on the weekend for flyouts to a good tiki hut.

I am however somewhat remote to find a suitable location. Any names come to mind? Internet tends to find the national chains

Tom, did you find a good place to stay? I'll be going down in May. Just wondering if you had any recommendations?

Steve, all about the same far as I could tell. I spent a lot of time at the factory when not flying so I stayed mostly in Sanford. I flew in and out of Sanford on TMA so it was convenient.
