Frank or anyone, do you know of any marina`s that have liveabord houseboats for sale with airfields nearby. Located about central state are. I think a nice liveabord houseboat would be ideal for me.

Charlie, one that comes to mind right away is Crystal Cove Marina, just norht of Palatka, Florida. Nice Marina, good restaurant,Searey friendly boat ramp, airfield within a couple of miles. We had 7 Searey's in the parking lot a couple of years ago. They also have quite a fleet of rental houseboats. If the wx is good this weekend, I'll fly down and get some phone numbers.

Another marina is across the street from my airport in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Long concrete docks and within walking distance of my field. Only problem is my airport doesn't allow private aircraft. (except mine). They are talking about opening the field, but so far it's just talk.

THANKS RICK, appreciate your help. Sounds like what I might be interested in. Do they have HB slips available?

Bassmasters holds a tournament on the St Johns every other year or so. Only thing bigger in the river are the gators.

If you liked Kissimmee, Charlie, check out River Ranch <br />Resort (airport identifier is 2RR). It has a marina, RVs, Condos, Motel, Rodeo, airport, and multiple food locations. If the marina doesn't fit your needs there are others nearby. There is a 'hill' just over the horizon that you can see when you go fly about.... 30 miles west and it's got a clarion on top of it.      Attachments:

Charlie, the bass are bedding in the river right now, so times a wastin'. Locate the beds with your Searey, pop out your fold up canoe, and go ketchem. Just talked to a couple of fella's who fished a tournament in Lake Toho in Kissimmee, and they reported several fish caught in the 10+ range. You can lock out to the Kissimmee chain from there as well.
