Got a call late Friday from my inside contact at BRS. Apparently my nagging has finally <br />worked, with the announcement that BRS now has a 1350 VLS chute available to fit the <br />Searey. <br /> <br />The chute itself sits inside the standard VLS box used to hold the 1200 sized chutes, and <br />only a slightly larger rocket (charge only, not physical size) is required with the 1350. <br /> <br />For those interested, the chute retails for $4295.00 and for anyone wanting to purchase <br />one, I will sell them for $$3750.00 plus $98.00 shipping in the U.S. Delivery times are <br />currently 5 weeks.
