Robert
At this stage I will probably not get north of Orlando but thanks for the offer.
regards
Ross

How about this plan, Robert? If Ross gets to Orlando by Sunday I'll toss him in the SeaRey and we'll fly out to lunch. I'm thinking we could bust his gut with some ol'time Florida cracker fried fish from Cypress Lake Fish Camp and Airboat Park.

Sounds like a plan to me Dan! We will get some good photos of his adventure back to OZ before he returns.

Ross will get in late Saturday night, Robert. Let's plan a 1200 departure for a 1300 lunch. There is plenty of parking so anyone is welcome to join up.

Hey Dan, for the 'new guys' where is this exactly! Thanks

It's the first lake south of Lake Toho, Phil (Lake Tohopekaliga for the Yankees still with us). Follow the shore of Lake Toho south of Kissimmee to the southern terminus (avoiding the radio tower at the lock) then turn left when the canal ends in Cypress Lake. You can't miss all the airboats on the eastern shore. The old owner wanted all SeaReys to park along the southern channel levee (no word from the new guy yet...we'll probably find out Sunday).

Well, it actually might be more fun for you, Phil, to fly down the east side of the Orlando airspace and along the St. Johns Crik (formerly also knows at the St. Johns River back when it had water). Turn right when you get to the Lake X airport (private) and proceed southwest over several lakes to Cypress Lake (it's on the sectional).

    G'Day
Dan - thanks for organising this get together. I am looking forward to meeting up with SeaRey friends.
For those who have not seen my recent news - only a couple of weeks ago I crashed my new SeaRey. That
I am here to talk about it is a testament to the crash-worthiness of the SeaRey, My analysis of the accident
is on the technical site. I have started the rebuilding, look forward to talking to you.
regards Ross

    Dan,

Sounds like a good plan. I will be there. In the mean time, fly into Steinhatchee (Ancient Oaks Airpark on the sectional, 3600' grass) Anybody who wants to go fishing is welcome to fly up. I will pick you up. It seems like a Sin to not share these great April fishing days. This front should pass through tonight and the winds calm again.
catch a few big ones for me, Robert

    Ron,

I caught you a nice Redfish yesterday. You would have enjoyed watching him chase that golden spoon like it was a pot of gold in the crystal clear water. He grabbed the gold and the fight was on! He even ended up breaking the graphite pole (pilot error). To celebrate his tenacity, I ate him with sautUed green beans and Red wine.
Robert, I've got a mental image on that! This is a real hot time of the year for reds and trout over there I understand. Got to get over there soon!!! Did you guys get together with Ross? The weather at my place was way rough. Gusts to +30, however I did manage to fly Saturday morning for an hour before it really got bad.

    Rick,

I bailed out do to the winds but Dan did get Ross up in the air, to the restaurant and back safely. He has a nice protected cove for operations.

I just returned from a fishing tournament in Steinhatchee and we won the biggest redfish and also caught a 42 lb cobia. The fishing has been great lately. Unfortunately, I have to return to work soon.
Fishing sounds great Robert. Sorry we're going to miss you. Just leave the keys in the boat, and we'll take pictures..... We'll just have to make it when you get back.
