Tony,

There are many good fly ins this weekend, it seems to a popular weekend for them. I am strapped down to family functions.

Well,

You missed a good time.
We flew there Friday and spent Fri night and Saturday camping in the ultralight section, then flew over to the GA side and camped last night. It was good fun despite the winds.
We got there fast - 105 -110 mph ground speed the whole way.
Today we were getting 45-50 coming home. It was a long trip but for half of the way it was amazingly smooth.

The Searey is proving it's utility. We were easily able to fit myself and Cheryl, our tent, 2 sleeping bags and air cushions, two chairs, a tarp, our clothes for two days, and a pepsi bottle full of Jack D. We bought ice, and drinks once we got there.

What a fun plane!
